How an installation runs
1. Estimate and survey
Send photos for a guide price, then we look at the job and confirm a clear written quote.
2. Installation
Work carried out neatly and safely, with a realistic timeframe agreed before we start.
3. Testing and certification
Everything is tested and you receive the correct certificate for the work.
Certified, compliant work
Tested and certified to BS 7671
All installation work is inspected, tested and certified to BS 7671, the UK wiring regulations. You'll receive an Electrical Installation Certificate or a Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate, depending on the job.
Building Regulations (Part P)
Some work, such as new circuits, consumer unit replacements and most work in bathrooms, is notifiable. We notify your local authority Building Control before it starts, and Building Control issues a completion certificate once it's signed off.

For many jobs we can give you a guide price from photos, so you know where you stand before booking a survey.

- Photos of the room or area
- A photo of your consumer unit (fuse box)
- The type of property and roughly how old it is, if you know
- For rewires: the number of bedrooms and rooms
